Nominations are now being accepted through March 20, 2008.
In support of creating a campus environment in which all members of the University community are encouraged to pursue opportunities for learning and professional growth, the Chancellor's Taskforce for a Better Workplace has created this award to recognize supervisors who facilitate the participation of staff members in learning activities as fully as possible within the framework of an effective workplace.
One outstanding supervisor will be chosen annually and awarded with a plaque and twenty-four hours of paid time off. The recipient will also be automatically nominated for a Chancellor's Award, in the category of Human Relations (has made outstanding contributions toward enhancing the quality of the workplace or creating a better public image of state government), which comes with a monetary prize.
