Overview
The Training & Development Department, Office of Human Resources, offers programs open to permanent University employees, both EPA and SPA, and in many cases can serve as important resources in the development of skills and knowledge necessary to an employee's professional growth. Other university affiliates, such as temporary employees, post-docs, retirees and employee spouses, may be eligible to register for classes on a space-available basis two days prior to the program's start. Please call us or visit our website at www.training.unc.edu for details.

How to Register
You must complete a Training Program Registration Form for each course. This form is available both online and in hard copy.
Online: Register online at www.training.unc.edu using your Onyen and password. This system allows you to register or cancel enrollment in Training & Development-sponsored programs, view and print your training record, and stay informed about upcoming training programs right from your desktop. For more information about the Online Training Registration web site (www.training.unc.edu), please contact us at 962-2550 with questions.
Hard copy: If you don't have computer access, registration forms can be obtained from Training & Development by calling 962-2550 or visiting 104 Airport Road, Suite 1500. A printable form is also available here. Fax your registration form to Training & Development at 843-9850 or send through campus mail to CB#1045.

Lunch Options
Participants in our all-day courses will have a one-hour break for lunch sometime near the middle of the class. There are a number of restaurants within a short drive of the AOB. Those who bring their lunch can use either the break room in the Training & Development suite or the cafe on the second floor of the AOB. Both have food and drink vending machines and microwaves. The cafe also sells a variety of snacks, sandwiches, salads, etc.
Training & Development provides regular and decaffeinated coffee as well as tea and filtered water. The AOB has wireless access, and a campus phone is available for use.
