Helping Heels Child/Elder Care Provider List

The UNC-Chapel Hill Employee Services Department is pleased to provide you with a list of UNC-Chapel Hill affiliated individuals who are interested in providing part-time and occasional child and/or elder care. Please note that the responsibility for the screening process rests solely and completely with caregivers and the person hiring them. Although we have listed skill information submitted on provider registration forms, we remind you that providers may not necessarily be trained to care for persons who have medical or psychiatric conditions requiring specialized care.

The provider list is lengthy and may take some time to download depending on your computer's speed.

The Care Provider List includes detailed information about providers, including UNC affiliation, provider experience, availability and access to transportation, so that you can make a more informed choice about whom to call.

The list is searchable by clicking on the Search (binoculars) button in Adobe Acrobat.

The list is updated each semester. Provider availability may shift during the course of a semester.

DISCLAIMER: The Employee Services Department provides this Helping Heels Care Provider List solely as a convenience to UNC-Chapel Hill employees, students, and their families. Neither the Employee Services Department nor the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill warrants or recommends any party on the List for the provision of child care. Further, neither the Employee Services Department, the Office of Human Resources, nor the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is responsible for the care given by or the conduct of the individuals listed on the UNC-Chapel Hill Helping Heels Care Provider List. All information listed about a provider's University affiliation and work experience is self-reported. The Employee Services Department does not confirm any information provided. You, as the prospective employer, are responsible for verifying information and checking references as needed.
