EPA faculty positions are automatically posted to Inside Higher Education from data entered in the Advertisement Data section of EPA RecruitmentWeb.  Every effort should be made to insure that data are accurate and complete.  Any other advertising sources that the unit plans to use should be indicated in this section.  It is the unit's responsibility to submit ad material to those sources. 

Insider Higher Education (http://insidehighered.com) is a daily news and commentary Web site for people who work in higher education that includes a higher-education specific job posting component.

The University purchased an annual contract with Inside Higher Ed. This means that all jobs from UNC-Chapel Hill can be posted to Inside Higher Ed at no charge. The following is a summary of basic information regarding this web site and its visitors based on information provided by insidehighered.com:

• The site logged more than 340,000 unique visitors in the last 30 days.
• Nearly 26,000 individuals are signed up to receive the free daily heading e-mail.
• The users of Inside Higher Ed are a diverse: 40% are academics, 30% administrators and 20% executives.
• Nearly 25% of web site readers are from underrepresented minorities and 50/50 split male/female.

The Chronicle of Higher Education remains a highly visible mechanism for posting academic and senior administrative positions and reaches a very significant population within the academic community. UNC-Chapel Hill has negotiated a 20 percent discount for both the "Display ad" and "Camera-ready ad" (included in one print issue and on-line for 30 days); please note that this discount does not apply to the "Line ad" and "Web-only ad."

Departments who wish to post their positions in the print and/or web editions of the Chronicle of Higher Education should submit them online at http://careers.chronicle.com. Each web-only ad runs for 30 days.
