Criminal Conviction Check

The University will complete a criminal conviction check prior to the appointee's first scheduled day of work. A criminal conviction does not in and of itself prevent an appointee from being employed by the University. The nature of some convictions, however, may cause certain appointments to be unavailable to you. Failure to completely disclose information about a criminal conviction or plea on the prescribed University forms is considered falsification and may result in the appointee not being eligible for employment at the University.
