Our Office

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Office of Human Resources (OHR) within the Division of Human Resources and Equal Opportunity and Compliance is the central office responsible for HR operations covering all non-faculty (SHRA and EHRA Non-Faculty) employees, including employment compliance, benefit administration and compensation. OHR works in partnership with campus school/division HR offices to:

• deliver a wide range of human resources programs and services to the campus workforce.
• ensure that human resources policies, practices and procedures are fully and correctly implemented.
• support of Carolina’s mission of teaching, research, and public service.

The Office of Faculty Affairs within the Office of the Provost is responsible for administration of personnel policies, guidelines and procedures related to faculty at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
