Coding Adverse Weather - Condition III (or I or II) Offset by Hours Worked
Joe missed 8 hours of work this pay cycle due to adverse weather conditions on 01-27. The University was closed (Condition III) on 01-27. Joe also worked an additional 4 hours outside his regular schedule on 01-26.
Adverse weather leave cannot enhance an employee's time record, even if the University is closed. Because Joe worked additional hours, the amount of paid Adverse Weather leave Joe needs in order to maintain 40 hours for the work week is reduced. Joe's timesheet for the pay cycle looks like this:
| Date | NSPP | CSPP | Coded | Code | | Date | NSPP | CSPP | Coded | Code |
| 1/17 | 8 | - | - | | 1/24 | 8 | - | - | |
