The Department of Work/Life & Wellness will be recruiting Wellness Champions (Champions) for the 2020-2021 academic year. The mission of the program is to foster a greater culture of health throughout Carolina by engaging and empowering Champions in every school and division. Champions will be joining a community of 29 others representing 17 schools/divisions throughout Carolina. Champions are enthusiastic about health and wellness, supportive and want to make a difference!

What Champions are saying:
“The Wellness Champion initiative has been a very positive experience. Being able to collaborate and share ideas across University units is a very valuable resource.”

“Wellness creates a more inclusive and effective workforce as well as creating social bonds through the activities and shared interests in the community.”

Before committing to be a Champion, you should be able and willing to dedicate up to eight hours a month to participate in monthly meetings, establish and lead a wellness committee in your school/division, and plan and implement in-person and/or virtual wellness activities to improve the health, happiness and safety of your workforce.
