Dear Fellow Tar Heels,

We look forward to seeing—and celebrating—you at the upcoming Employee Wellness Day, Friday, March 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Carolina Union.

Stop by for a complementary boxed lunch, wellness check, fitness demos, games and more. To view the full calendar for the day and to secure your spot for certain activities, visit the Employee Wellness Day webpage.

Participation is free, and attendance is considered work time for staff, who should seek advance approval from their supervisors to attend. Free parking is available in the Cobb Deck on Paul Green Drive.

We’d love your support in helping to make this year’s Employee Wellness Day a success. Plus, volunteers get a free Employee Wellness Day T-shirt.

Volunteer shifts last one hour and are available from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Help out by:

  • Assisting with set-up
  • Handing out giveaways
  • Greeting guests at check-in tables
  • Assisting with clean-up

If interested, please sign up for a volunteer shift (or two) by Friday, March 11. Volunteers will receive a separate email with details closer to the event date.

Turn it blue

It’s been over two years since we’ve been able to gather in person, and we thought it’d be fun for us all to accentuate the occasion by donning something blue—Carolina Blue, that is! So show some spirit by wearing school colors to the event on Friday, March 18.

To help make room on the calendar for attending this event, we’re encouraging supervisors and managers to make the entire day of March 18 meeting-free, to the extent possible. And while some may not typically be on campus on Fridays, we do hope you’ll be able to structure your schedule so that you can join us—clad in Carolina Blue, of course.
