Wednesday, June 4, 2025 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
When we are exposed to any potential threat, however uncertain, to our well-being, we naturally respond with anxiety and fear. This training will address the mental health impacts of natural disasters such as tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanoes, floods, wildfires, and drought. The course will examine how to remain positive and functional despite the risks of natural disasters. Included will be practical tips for coping with uncertainty, re-establishing control, and how to speak to children about fear.
