The Office of Human Resources is excited to host Employee Wellness Day, our first combined wellness and employee appreciation event. On Friday, March 18, swing by the Carolina Union from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. to:

Participation is free, and attendance is considered work time for staff, who should seek advance supervisor approval to attend. Free parking is available in the Cobb Deck on Paul Green Drive.

Healthy Breakfast
Outside Lenoir Hall, 211 Lenoir Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27514
For our facilities and housekeeping staff who are just beginning or finishing up shifts, start (or end!) your day with an egg-&-cheese breakfast burrito, fruit cup, Greek yogurt, juice and coffee.
8:30 a.m. — 2 p.m.
15-Minute Wellness Checks
Carolina Union, 3206 A & B (upstairs) | Sponsor: NC State Health Plan | Swag: Antibacterial Wipes
Register or walk in for a free wellness check. In just 15 minutes, you’ll have a comprehensive wellness review, which includes checking your cholesterol, blood glucose/A1c, blood pressure, body mass index and waist circumference. Knowing your numbers lets you know if you’re at risk for or have an undiagnosed chronic condition.
- Appointments are encouraged but not required. Walk-in appointments are offered on a first-available basis. Screening slots are limited.
- Register by March 16 with visitor access code: UNC2022.
- This screening is provided through your NC State Health Plan insurance.
- Please bring your 2022 insurance card and a photo ID.
- Your results will NOT be shared with your employer or the NC State Health Plan.
- Participants with any abnormal results should contact their primary care provider for additional follow-up.
