This month there will be three wellness opportunities to engage with GuidanceResources experts in 45-60 minute workshops prepared by psychologists and top adult learning professionals to learn important skills to help you manage stress, stay motivated and improve your mood. These workshops are available to all permanent employees via My Learning in Carolina Talent.

Overcoming Distorted Negative Thinking

Wednesday, November 11, noon-1 p.m.

This session will examine 10 cognitive distortions and how they affect our mood and create faulty beliefs.  Through examining these distortions, you will be able to identify ways to challenge negative thoughts and limit the impact they have on your life.

Stress: A Way of Life or a Fact of Life

Thursday, November 12, noon-1 p.m.

This workshop will help you better understand stress, including common stressors, how to identify your stressors and ways to cope in high stress situations.

Secrets to Self-Motivation

Wednesday, November 18, 3:00-4:00 p.m.

In this session you will better understand the four factors that contribute to self-motivation and learn how to keep your self-motivation high all year round.
