Hello HR Representatives,
Currently, when an employee leaves, you use the “Staff Termination” service request form at help.unc.edu to ask that their computer and departmental IT access (non-ConnectCarolina accounts) be deprovisioned. On Thursday, Nov. 4, this service request is being split into two separate requests. The new names are:
- Employee Access Removal-Critical
- Employee Access Removal
Use this request to notify departmental IT and ITS Security staff about high urgency departures.
Use this request to notify departmental IT and ITS Security staff about all other departures.
Note: As a reminder, to remove an employee’s access to ConnectCarolina, submit an access request form to your access request coordinator (ARC). To initiate HR-specific actions, continue to follow your internal HR process.
