Dear Carolina staff,

The University is committed to supporting your career growth, and one way to do that is through mentorship. Research points to mentorship as a valuable experience, and we’ve already heard from many of you expressing interest in a staff mentorship program to complement the opportunities already in place for faculty and students.

In line with the strategic initiative to enable career development within the University’s strategic plan, we strive to foster professional growth for staff, faculty and students. Enhancing mentorship opportunities is an important pathway for career exploration and professional engagement, and we are excited to learn from you how a new staff mentorship program can help us invest in your future at Carolina.

To assist us in building a mentorship program that best fits the needs of University staff, please complete the five-minute Staff Mentorship Interest Survey that asks for your input on the program aspects that most interest you.

This survey asks about your preferences for program format, participation type and potential topics of interest. It also includes open-ended questions so that you can let us know about additional areas of interest and other mentorship opportunities for University staff.

Survey responses are anonymous, and all questions are optional. The survey can only be taken one time and is open through Friday, Sept. 23.

The data we receive through this survey will be used to create a mentorship program tailored to staff, so we hope that you will take this opportunity to share your interests and encourage your colleagues to do so as well.
