Personal wellbeing is essential to everyone’s overall health. UNC Work/Life and Wellness wants to remind faculty and staff of the following free weekly sessions to help stay healthy, both mentally and physically.

Gentle Yoga with Gillings Culture of Health

Take time to relax and rejuvenate with gentle yoga. Find strength, balance, flexibility, and an overall feeling of energetic renewal. A mindful yoga practice can enhance self-compassion, lighten a heavy heart and relieve the tensions of stress and anxiety.

Mindfulness and Self-Compassion

Take advantage of self-compassion meditation sessions provided by School of Medicine and dedicate time to self-nurture. Mindfulness and self-compassion meditations assist with stress reduction, mental flexibility and even resilience.

Inhaling Positivity Mid-Day Meditation

Bring balance into your day with free 15-minute mid-day micro-meditation every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Add calmness to your day with meditation techniques to help you relax, rejuvenate, recharge, and reduce stress. Participate on your computer or mobile app.
