Tuition & Fee Waivers

Information Technology Services
UNC’s Information Technology Services (ITS) Software Acquisition office offers online, technical training opportunities for faculty and staff members. Both can be accessed through LearnIT Online.
- Microsoft IT Academy: An e-learning site that provides more than 2,000 online courses, including training in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other components of the Microsoft Office suite, as well as more advanced courses aimed at IT professionals.
- LinkedIn Learning: Online video courses taught by industry experts, working professionals, and veteran teachers. The library features modules on products and features by Adobe, Apple, Autodesk, Blackboard, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, SPSS Statistics, and Twitter, as well as on HTML coding, open-source software, and many other topics.
