To provide additional flexibility for employees, Thursday, Dec. 30, will now be an optional workday for employees as opposed to a University Closed day for which employees would be required to use leave.
UNC-Chapel Hill employees who wish to work on this day must coordinate with and receive approval from their supervisor in advance to do so. Those who receive approval to work should note that campus services will, in general, be operating at normal holiday closure levels.
