Total WellBeing at UNC-Chapel Hill

UNC-Chapel Hill’s Total WellBeing program focuses on the connection between work/life, home/life and total well-being — from head to heart to heels! Total WellBeing provides and promotes employee resources that support mental, physical, social, intellectual and financial wellness for employees.

As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to the health and wellness of employees, University staff and faculty can enjoy a variety of programs for healthy lifestyles and balancing the responsibilities of professional and personal life.


Who is eligible?

Many Total WellBeing programs are available to all UNC-Chapel Hill staff and faculty.

Because programs, discounts and partner resources are unique and because not all resources promoted are created by or managed through UNC-Chapel Hill (some are administered by the UNC System, some by private companies, etc.), eligibility may vary. Certain supports are available to all state employees or to members of NC State Health Plan.

About Our Team

Total WellBeing is part of the Benefits and Leave Administration Department in the Office of Human Resources at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Total WellBeing team oversees the Employee Assistance Program, Total WellBeing employee wellness programs, child care resources, employee perks and discounts and departmental awards.
