The Total WellBeing Expo is Carolina’s annual wellness event for faculty & staff. This event offers the opportunity for local organizations and businesses to highlight their premier work/life and wellness services and products that support Tar Heels’ total wellbeing from head to heart to heels.
This is a multi-component event that offers cooking demo(s), food tastings, fitness classes, blood pressure screenings, chair massages and a large wellness resource fair with music and entertainment. The Expo attracts over 1,000 Carolina employees each year and is expected to grow.

Open to any organization or business local to the NC Triangle that supports the following:
- Health and healing
- Physical fitness
- Balanced nutrition
- Finance management & savings
- Community involvement
- Work/life assistance (child care, parenting, pet care, elder care)
In-person | March 12, 2025 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Provide a 30-minute fitness classes or cooking demo at the Expo
- Showcase your organization or business in the Expo’s Exhibit Hall of up to 100 exhibitors. (No direct sales allowed)
Virtual Participation
- Host a live webinar the week of the Expo beginning March 10 (except March 12)
- Submit a pre-recorded session to the Total WellBeing Library (closed captioning required)
Donate
Donate an item or service to the Expo attendee drawing held after the event.
Please Note!
You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your registration is submitted. Those who selected interest in providing a live webinar the week of the Expo will be notified of the schedule in early February.
Full details will be shared with all exhibitors and participants by email in late February (two weeks before the event).
Exhibit space is available on a first-come basis and includes one 6-foot table and two chairs. Freestanding displays must fit within the assigned exhibit space (behind your exhibit space or replace the table provided). If requested in registration, electricity can be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. All outlet requests must support your exhibit and cannot be for personal use.
We encourage your exhibit to have the following:
- An interactive activity to engage and help our employee population better understand your service, product, or message. (i.e., quiz, game, etc.)
- A way for attendees to receive more information, i.e., listserv sign-up, handouts, business cards, brochures, etc.
- Promotional items or giveaways that attendees can take with them, i.e., pens, cups, water bottles, etc.
- You will be responsible for supplying your own extension cords and/or power strips, if needed.
Please note: No fundraising and direct sales is allowed at State events. We encourage you to connect, engage and share your product and service information with employees and follow up with them after the event.
- Early registration through Jan. 3, 2025: $100
- Registration Jan. 4-31, 2025: $150
- Gold Sponsorship through Jan. 31, 2025: $500
- (priority booth placement, recognition on the Expo webpage, signage and announcements at the event)
Exhibit and sponsorship fees help support many components of this event including chair massages, cooking demos, food, pipe and drapes for the exhibit hall, moving and set-up fees and more.
Exhibitor fees are waived for all UNC-Chapel Hill Schools and Departments, state agencies, and 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.
