In partnership with the State Employee’s Combined Campaign (SECC), Carolina Cares, Carolina Shares is Carolina’s only authorized fundraising campaign permitted to solicit charitable contributions in the state employee workplace and within the Carolina community.
Historically, Carolina has been one of top giving institutions in the state, totaling over 14% of the campaign’s $2.3 million overall contribution last year. We continue to lead the way in giving among other universities and state agencies. So far this year, employee giving totals $120,779.
With more than 750 charities to choose from, Tar Heels can support the mission of the organizations that support the needs of our communities across the state.
