Employee and Management Relations
The Office of Human Resources’ Employee & Management Relations (E&MR) is responsible for all aspects of management and employee relation issues, including employee conduct consultations, disciplinary actions, unemployment program, performance improvement plans, at-will and for-cause discontinuations and work environment/climate assessments to assist with departmental goals.
E&MR provides consistent, equitable and timely consultative services regarding UNC’s policies and procedures to enhance collaboration and organizational effectiveness, foster reliable and accountable partnerships and cultivate an engaging work environment for all employees, managers and the entire UNC community.
