Meet your UNC E&MR Consultants
Angenette oversees the development and implementation of E&MR policies, procedures, and programs, including administrative leave (including adverse weather and communicable disease), employee threat assessments, the policy on improper relationships, onboarding, the University Exit program, unemployment, and employee wellness checks. She provides direction and guidance on E&MR principles, policies, laws, and best practices for performance issues, consultations for conduct and effective work environments, HIPPA and privacy violations, disciplinary actions, involuntary separations, facilitated conversations, mediations, conflict and dispute resolutions, and workplace climate assessments.
Angenette is the employee relations contact for OHR-EOC, OUC, Internal Audit, OHR Communications, the Ombuds Office, Office of the Chancellor and WUNC-FM.
During her tenure at UNC-Chapel Hill, she held various positions including Benefits Specialist, Senior HR Generalist, Senior Consultant (E&MR), and Manager of E&MR. Angenette’s expertise encompasses the management of university grievances, performance management, and workplace violence (WPV) policies and processes, classification and compensation, recruitment, organizational development, benefits administration, training and coaching.
Before becoming a member of UNC-Chapel, Angenette held the positions of Health Educator and Accounting Officer. During her tenure in these roles, she was responsible for the development and management of various programs and activities aimed at youth. These initiatives focused on decision-making, coping with peer pressure, academic enrichment, teen pregnancy prevention, entrepreneurship, and leadership development. Additionally, Angenette provided community outreach, budget preparation, grant writing, community event planning, and family planning services for substance abuse and sexually transmitted diseases. She also performed human resources functions, including managing volunteers and students, recruitment, training, salary administration, orientation, and compensation management.
Angenette holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration, as well as a Master of Public Administration from North Carolina Central University.

Donna provides direct employee relations services to The College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Social Work.
Prior to joining the E&MR team, Donna served as the HR Director/EEO Officer at Elizabeth City State University where she successfully managed HR functions such as benefits, ADA, SHRA and EHRA-NF grievances, employee and management relations, performance management, staffing and recruitment, payroll, and all EEO matters. Throughout Donna’s extensive background in corporate and nonprofit sectors, she has served as Training Specialist, Workforce Development Coordinator, Social Worker, and as Executive Director of a Smart Start organization. Donna has merged her breadth of professional knowledge and diverse perspectives into a comprehensive career focused on inspiring employee loyalty, increasing engagement, reducing turnover, and creating a positive university culture.
Donna graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing and received her MBA in Human Resource Management from Capella University. In addition, she received certifications in DEI in the Workplace from the University of South Florida, and Nonprofit Management from Duke University. Donna is also a State Certified Employment Mediator.

Robin currently supports Athletics, Energy Services, Facilities, Finance and Operations, The School of Government and Student Affairs.
Robin has over 15 years of professional human resources and management experience in the private sector and filled the roles of Director and Manager of Human Resources in the corrugated boxing, automotive, medical device, heavy construction, and furniture industries as well as 5 years in the retail industry with a big box operation. In those roles, Robin supported multiple facilities throughout NC, SC and VA and managed many functions within HR to include employee and management relations, union negotiations, EEOC charges and disputes, unemployment, benefits, performance management, recruitment, training, compensation, payroll, workers compensation and safety.
Robin is originally from Virginia and an avid UVA fan–when they are not playing UNC. She graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg where she earned her B.A. in Business with a concentration in Human Resources Management. Robin is also a State Certified Employment Mediator.

Adele currently supports the Office of University Development, School of Law, Kenan-Flagler Business School, and Housekeeping Services.
In August 2019, Adele led the rollout of a new Exit Interview Program and has served as the Program’s Lead Administrator since that time. From April 2022 – August 2023, she served as the university’s Interim Workplace Violence & Grievance Officer. Adele’s other campus activities include serving on the OHR/EOC Social Committee–planning quarterly social events for employees within the division, and holding general membership in the Carolina Black Caucus.
Adele has over 15 years of professional experience in the public and private sector working for several global organizations, such as VF Corporation, Volvo Trucks, and UPS. Her areas of expertise include SHRA and EHRA-NF Employee Relations Consultations, Case Management, Conflict Resolution/Mediations, Grievance Processes, Disciplinary Actions, and Exit Interview trends analyses.
She has a B.A. in Communications from Bennett College and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management (concentration in Organizational Development) from Strayer University. She has two professional HR certifications, PHR and SHRM-CP, along with a DEI in the Workplace certification from the University of South Florida. Adele is a Certified State Mediator through the North Carolina Office of State Human Resources. She is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. In her current chapter, Beta Iota Omega (Greensboro, NC), she leads the “Sister-to-Sister Career Networking” committee, which focuses on professional development and navigating workplace issues for women of color.

Tyler started working at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on May 12, 2014. Previously, Tyler worked at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Public Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. Tyler is a State Certified Employment Mediator.
Tyler is an avid sports fan and follows University of Kentucky athletics (the correct color of blue), the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals, as well as the English Premier League.

Terrence currently supports the School of Medicine, Gillings School of Global Public Health, Adams School of Dentistry, Eshelman School of Pharmacy, School of Nursing, Hussman School of Journalism and Media, and University Communications and Public Affairs.
Terrence retired from the United States Marine Corps in 2021, after 22 years of honorable service. As a Marine, Terrence served in various roles and provided human resources support in complex environments for both stateside and overseas units. He also served as an Equal Opportunity Advisor. Terrence began a public service career after retiring from the military, effectively serving as an Employee Relations Consultant in diverse roles at the NC Office of State Human Resources (OSHR), UNC Health and the UNC System Office.
Terrence holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Strayer University and a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Webster University. Additionally, he holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). Terrence is also a State Certified Employment Mediator through OSHR and a Federally Certified Mediator through the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI). Terrence is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, and enjoys spending time with his family.

Prior to joining E&MR, Jenn has worked in the non-profit sector serving as an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, and HR Generalist. In those roles, she was responsible for handling recruiting activities, administering Family Medical Leave and Worker’s Compensation, personnel administrative changes in the payroll system, and presenting training materials.
Jenn received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Loyola University Maryland.
