Leave options for employees
With the winter holiday approaching, please remember that employees can request to exchange the paid Spring Holiday (Good Friday) or Winter Holidays (Christmas) for another holiday within the employee’s religious faith. See the Alternate Holiday section of the Holiday & Holiday Pay Policy for details, including approval requirements and TIM instructions.
Also remember that with Personal Observance Leave, employees have the opportunity to take leave for a day that has personal significance to them. Make sure to use Personal Observance Leave before the year ends. Personal Observance Leave can be used for the University Closed Day on Friday, Dec. 29, 2023.
