If you are having trouble entering certain sites or accessing links, please make sure that Ghostery is not blocking the site. You’ll know because a pop-up message will appear to notify you that the site has been blocked.

This kind of block seems to occur often with links to University surveys, especially those used through Qualtrics. Please follow the instructions below to allow access to the sites for the browser you use.

Note: The Ghostery icon referred to in the instructions below looks like a blue ghost that may feature with it a black box with number inside it.

For Google Chrome

  • Click on the Ghostery icon in the top right corner of your Chrome browser.
  • Click Trust Site within the drop-down menu.
  • Refresh the browser page for this change to take effect.

For Firefox

  • Click on the Ghostery icon in the top right corner of your Firefox browser.
  • Click Trust Site within the drop-down menu.
  • Refresh the browser page for this change to take effect.

For Safari:

  • Click the Ghostery icon to the left of the address bar.
  • Click Trust Site within the drop-down menu.

For Microsoft Edge:

  • Click the Ghostery icon.
  • Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner.
  • In the Menu on the left, click Trust & Restrict.
  • In the Trusted section, type in qualtrics.com.
  • Refresh the browser page for this change to take effect.
