The University employs approximately 10,000 people in permanent positions. The job search and application process for vacancies varies depending on the type of position you are seeking.
The University of North Carolina has introduced a new online application for EPA Faculty and Non-Faculty positions. Individuals looking for any type of Faculty position will access the open positions by clicking on the Search Positions link under the Faculty heading.
Currently all positions are identified as EPA Faculty, EPA Non-Faculty or SPA at the top of the position detail screens.

Effective Jan. 1, 2007, in compliance with North Carolina law, immediately after hiring, the University will verify each new employee's legal status or authorization to work in the United States using the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Basic Pilot Program.
