Statewide Wellness: The Connection between Stress, Sleep and Weight

Learn how stress and sleep can affect your weight.

Maintaining healthy habits during the holiday season can be tough. Especially when busy schedules can lead to more stress and less sleep. Did you know these two factors can impact the way we eat too?

Katie Godin, RD, LDN, from LifeStyle Medical Centers will discuss the link between sleep, stress and our dietary habits. She will share some helpful coping mechanisms to deal with stress and tips to improve poor sleep habits.

After a brief presentation, Godin will demonstrate how to make Pumpkin Zucchini Bread, which can be a wonderful homemade holiday gift for someone or a nice addition to your holiday gatherings this year!
